FINAL Programme & Logistics

Dear conference delegates,

With the #EFPC2024 less than two weeks ahead, we send you the logistic guidance for this year´s conference in Slovenia with the pre-conference in Maribor and the main conference in Ljubljana. The schedule for the plenary programme plus parallel sessions can be accessed on the conference webpage.

We hope you have taken care of all issues regarding registration, payment of the invoice, flights & accommodation. In case you have any questions, please get in touch.

The official programme book can be found on the conference webpage and a printed short summary will be distributed at the registration desk.

The main conference starts on Monday the 16th of September with a welcome address by our local hosts, at 9.00 am. Registration + coffee are already open at 8.00, so please be there on time, especially if you still have to arrange something for your own presentation early in the program.

Tuesday morning a sports activity program is organized by our local hosts. You are advised by them to register already prior to the start of the conference for one of the five options via the QR code provided below.

Main Conference Venue

EFPC Main-Conference will take place in Center Rog, Trubarjeva cesta 72, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia

Pre-conference | Sunday 15th of September

For those of you who have also registered for the pre-conference on Sunday, we would like to use this opportunity to inform you about the logistics as well.

The pre-conference starts on Sunday the 15th of September in Maribor with the 2024 PRIMORE Masterclass and a Nature Walk in Pohorje.

For those who have arrived already in Maribor on Saturday 14 September, please send us a message [email protected] so we can advise you on an individual basis where and how to join the pre-conference program

If you have not yet arrived in Maribor on Saturday 14 September, there are busses available to bring you from Ljubljana to Maribor on Sunday morning.

• The bus for the Nature Walk participants will leave at 7.00 am from the Tivoli parking lot which will bring you straight to the start of the Nature Walk and subsequently to the pre-conference location for the afternoon program. Please be in time, the bus will depart sharp at 7.00!
• The participants for the Masterclass can take a bus also from the Tivoli parking lot  one hour later, at 8.00 am which will you to the pre-conference location where the Masterclass will start. Please be in time, the bus will depart sharp at 8.00!

At 13h a welcome lunch will be served at the pre-conference, the Maribor Community Health Centre (Ulica talcev 5, Maribor), together with the introduction of the afternoon program.

This afternoon site-visits programme starts at 14.15. A detailed pre-conference program can be found on the pre-conference webpage.

For the afternoon program: you will be able to make a choice at the registration desk (with a simple adage, first coming has the best choice and full is full).

The day will end with a wine tasting plus dinner

At the end of the day the busses will bring you back to Ljubljana.

Feel free to let us know in case you have questions concerning the logistics or any other issues related to the pre-conference! For the pre-conference there are still some tickets available.
