
EFPC Webinar: "The Austrian programme for early childhood intervention: supporting families in need" 13/04/23
The EFPC will be hosting a new webinar on the Austrian programme for early childhood intervention: supporting families in need, next 13th of April, at 12:30-13:30h (CET).
The Austrian programme Early Childhood Intervention Programme supports families and women during pregnancy and in the first years of a child’s life. Since 2015, the Austrian programme has been implemented in all federal provinces.
The mission:
- To promote a healthy way of growing up,
- to enable equal opportunities and
- to increase the quality of life of the entire family.
Monitoring and evaluation of the programme show that burdened families are very well reached and supported by the established regional networks of the Early Childhood Intervention Programme.
The webinar gives a brief overview and general background on the Austrian Early Childhood Intervention Programme, its goals, the state of implementation and the lessons learned with a special focus on socio-economic disadvantage and health.
In addition, a family support worker of the program will report about experiences with families and will give an insight into practice.
